South BankGeneral Info Früher wurde die Gegend als Lambeth and lower Marsh bezeichnet. Seit dem Festival of Britain 1951 hat diese Gegend einige Veränderungen durchgemacht und wächst stätig. Diese Gegend ist Skateboardern auf der ganzen Welt für seine Skaterfreiheit auf Treppen und Bänken sehr bekannt, einige Skulpturen wurden eigens für Fanatiker dieses Sports dort aufgestellt. Selbst wenn sie kein Skateboarder sind, gibt es einige interessante Sachen in Souths Bank zu sehen. Das "Old Vic", das Museum of Garden History, die Hayward Gallerie, das Londons Eye, die Country Hall, das Royal National Theatre, alle in der Nähe der Waterloo Station oder dem "Imperial War Museum" in der Nähe der Elephant 6 U-Bahn Station.
